GMVS Early College Acceptances

December 20, 2011 ~Many of Green Mountain Valley School’s 19 seniors (and a pair of post-graduates) received early admissions decisions from colleges and universities over the past few weeks. Additional decisions for the rest of the class will be out in the spring. 

Students accepted and committing to matriculate under Early Decision:

Duffy Brothers are First and Third at Sugarloaf Downhill

Race and Ribbon Cutting: New Lift and New Snow

January 17, 2012 On Saturday the t-bar and snowmaking upgrades to the Kelly Brush Race Arena got their proper ribbon-cutting, as a horde of Ski Club members, GMVS staff and students, Sugarbush representatives, as well as Vermont government figures took part in the official opening celebration. The sun-splashed day featured a dual GS that covered the length of the new lift, as well as post-race festivities. The event was a huge success, and you can watch video coverage from WCAX out of Burlington:
