Litchfield, Kerry

After graduate school, Kerry began teaching in a variety of independent school settings, including a small traveling high school, the Academy at Adventure Quest. When AQ closed its doors, Kerry helped found another international travel and outdoor adventure program, the Academy for Global Exploration, where she was the Director of Academics and English teacher, leading semester-long trips to other countries for cultural studies and outdoor adventures ranging from whitewater kayaking to rock climbing, backpacking and surfing. After three years of living out of a backpack, Kerry moved back to Vermont and began teaching at GMVS. She lives in the Valley with her husband and still enjoys being outdoors whenever possible.
