GMVS Boys’ Lacrosse in State Final
June 7, 2011 ~With an exciting 10-7 semifinal win over Burr and Burton Academy, the GMVS boys’ lacrosse team is now headed to the state Division 2 championship game. The opening face-off is at 11 am on Saturday at Castleton State College. Hans Halvorsen ’12 led the way with 3 goals and 5 assists, with junior Mitch Grimmer also grabbing a hat trick. Senior goalie Dan Bell was a force in net, making 16 spectacular saves to secure the team’s 11th win of the year.
