Jere Brophy's Notes From Campus

Since the last edition of Notes, a lot has happened around here. The racing has been fast and furious, the semester has come to a close, and it seems as if it has snowed every day! I have enjoyed blasting through the powder on Tumbler, while listening to sophomores Kelly Glander and Lainey Curtis and othrs shrieking with laughter as they flew through Tumbler Woods. I got to watch dozens of our kids race in the MLK GS on Monday, and I watched as the Nordic coaches prepped the track on the lower field (which has since been buried by yet more snow.... The J2 boys have been in Europe, testing the European FIS waters and cheering on Bode at the Hahnenkamm. On Tuesday, Headmaster Dave Gavett led the entire community in an observation of Dr. King's legacy, and charged us all to live up to the challenge of striving to be exceptional people. All in all, a pretty great week.
